ABSTRACT

Objective To improve the diagnosis and treatment of infective endocardits(IE)by exploring the causes, pathogenic microorganism, clinical characteristics and therapeutic results of patients with IE.Methods From January 2006 to January 2016,89 cases with IE in Ganzhou People's Hospital were collected, and the clinical charac-teristics were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among the IE patients,40.5%had congenital heart diseases,33.7%had rheumatic heart diseases,18.0% were post-PCI or operative endocarditis, and patients without basic cardiac diseases accounted for 7.9%.The most common clinical manifestations were fever (86.5%),followed by anemia (85.4%).The blood culture positive rate was 63.4%.Streptococci viridians were the most common causative organ-isms(44.2%),followed by coagulase -negative staphylococci(21.2%).Eighty-six patients received echocardio-graphy examination, vegetation was observed in 61cases (68.5%).The hospital mortality rate was 10.1%,mostly due to refractory congestive heart failure and sepsis. Conclusion Congenital heart disease showed an upward trend, rheumatic heart disease decreased significantly.Intermittent fever, anemia are the main clinical manifestations.Blood culture positive rate is not high,Streptococcus viridians is the most common causative organism.Echocardiography is the main basis for the diagnosis.

ABSTRACT

Retrospectively analyzed in the paper are such clinical data as disease category, inj ury part, severity and outcomes for 322 victims of the catastrophic fire and explosion accident at a tertiary hospital. The authors summarized the disease spectrum, and treatment and nursing strategy,in order to improve the emergency plan against fire and explosion accidents,to raise the accuracy of pre-hospital and in-hospital inj ury examination, and to ensure efficient and scientific treatment and nursing, with minimized deaths.

ABSTRACT

This article reviewed the measures taken by the hospital against a catastrophic fire hazard and exploration in its response and work organization of nursing care of the wounded.Proposed in this paper are development of such five systems as the pre-plan,exercises,personnel,quality control and incentives, which are expected to improve the nursing capacity of the hospital in emergency rescue, for sustainable development of nursing emergency rescue work.

ABSTRACT

To perform modal analysis of CT shelter by applying computer simulation technology so as to pro-vide theoretical guidance for CT shelter structure optimization. Based on CAD model, the finite element model of a CT shelter was established with ANSYS simulation platform. Through modal analysis, different-order modal frequency and modal shape of the shelter were computed and the kinetic characteristics were evaluated. Low order modal frequency was kept away from the natural frequency range of chassis system resonance to avoid the overall structure reso-nance; the 3rd and the 4th modal frequency and engine idle speed frequency were very close so that local resonance might occur; road roughness excitation frequency covered the first 6 order modal frequencies and the further vibration-re-ducing measures of CT equipment were suggested. Based on the theories of finite element method and current software platform, modal analysis of shelter structure can be simulated and the results can provide valuable data for the improvement of kinetic characteristics and structure design.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the application of 18F-FDG PET/CT combined with high-resolution CT (HRCT) in the same scanner on diagnosis of lung cancer, and its influencing factors. Methods 50 patients, in which some cannot supply HRCT raw date and under highly suspicion of being lung cancer, some were postoperative lung cancer and metastasis of lung cancer, were examined by 18F-FDG PET/CT combined with HRCT in the same scanner. Results 50 patients were all successful (100%) on PET/CT scans after preparation, injection, rest and breathing exercises;46 cases (92%) were successful on PET/CT combined with HRCT scans;4 cases (8%) failed on HRCT scans. Ma-lignant lesions were found in 35 cases, with the metastasis of 21 cases;4 in 6 cases of postoperative lung cancer were found metastasis;9 cases of benign pulmonary nodules need to be observed sequentially. Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT combined with HRCT in the same scan-ner is valuable on diagnosis of lung cancer. The diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity significantly increase. It is a non-invasive new imaging technology and systemic metastasis can be observed.

ABSTRACT

Object To study the pharmacological effects of CH 2Cl 2 extract of Flos Magnoliae. Methods Anti inflammatory and antiallergic effects of CH 2Cl 2 extract of Flos Magnoliae were studied on various experimental models. Results The extract remarkably inhibited the contraction caused by histamine and acetylcholine, as well as the ovalbumin sensitized allergic constriction of isolated ileum smooth muscle of guinea pigs. It could inhibit the increase of capillary permeability induced by acetic acid in mice, inhibit the mice paw edema produced by carrageenin and reduce the production of PGE 2 in inflammatory tissues. Conclusion CH 2Cl 2 extract of Flos Magnoliae showed remarkable anti inflammatory and antiallergic effects.

ABSTRACT

Objective To optimize the extracting condition of total isoflavones from Fructus Sophorae by subcritical water extraction. Methods Taking isoflavones yield as index and genistin as control, the technology parameter of subcritical water extraction of Fructus Sophorae isoflavones was optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiment. Results The yield of Fructus Sophorae total isoflavones in the extracts was 23.3% at 130 ℃ for 45 min with the liquid-solid ratio of 12.5 mL/g.Conclusion Compared with traditional extracting methods, subcritical water extraction is a new developing technology in recent years. Its advantage is fast,good-selective.

ABSTRACT

To obtain the immunized mouse spleen cells, we immnnized the female BALB/C mice I.P. with schizonts or merozoites of the cultured blood forms of Plasmodium falciparum. The immunized spleen cells were fused with the SP2/0 myeloma cells, by which we obtained two strains of hybridoma secreting monoclonal antibodies against human Plasmodium falciparum. Using indirect immunofluorescence assay, we identified that the antibodies reacted only with the surface membrane antigens of the schizonts. These hybridomas were cultured continuously in vitro for over ten months and stably produced antibodies-IgG. The two hybridoma cell lines were designated as AEB2 and AGA4, and the number of their chromosomes was 98 and 100 respectively. The hybridoma cells were injected I. P. into the paraffin oil treated BALB/C mice to obtain the hybridoma ascitic fluid containing monoclonal antibodies. The ascitic fluid inhibited the growth of P. falciparum in vitro up to 89%. The inhibition test showed that antibodies were protective.
